Hynt is evolving in 2026, building on our success as a sector-leading access scheme in Wales since 2015. Thank you for being an important part of this. The scheme will become part of a new UK and Ireland-wide programme called All In, inspired by Hynt's pioneering work. As announced at the Creu Cymru conference 2026, in Wales, the scheme will be known as I BAWB / ALL IN.

Why this change is happening:

I BAWB / ALL IN brings together Arts Councils across Wales, England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Scotland to work more closely on access, inclusion and disability equity. The new programme aims to remove barriers for Deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent people engaging with arts and culture across the UK and Ireland.

I BAWB / ALL IN will continue to deliver the same benefits and services you're used to, but adding even more features all for a broadly similar price. Alongside the existing training offer and annual symposium, your subscription will now include the new Accessibility Standards for Creativity and Culture, an encyclopedia of access to help you make improvements with confidence; data analytics to help you better understand your disabled audiences; and a smoother booking process for I Bawb members who will be able to use their membership at any subscribed venue in the UK and Ireland.

What this means for Wales:

Hynt is entering its next phase as part of this wider partnership. In Wales, the scheme will be known as I BAWB / ALL IN. "I Bawb" means "for everyone" in Welsh, closely aligning with All In.

Why the name is changing:

A single, bilingual name in Wales will create a more seamless experience across Wales, the UK and Ireland. One shared brand means clearer recognition, simpler marketing, and a consistent presence across digital platforms, membership cards, merchandise, and communications. This avoids duplication and ensures the focus stays on access, not competing brands.

How this will be better for audiences:

Members will benefit from a single, multilingual digital portal, including Welsh and BSL. Access requirements can be shared once and recognised across venues throughout the UK and Ireland. The experience will be more joined-up, recognisable and user-friendly wherever people engage with arts and culture.

Recognising Hynt's legacy:

Hynt's founding role will be fully acknowledged within I BAWB / ALL IN. The new platform will celebrate Hynt's origins, impact and values, recognising it as the model that inspired wider adoption across the UK and Ireland. There will be a transition period to ensure audiences, venues and partners have time to adjust to the new name and brand.

We know we've been talking about this for a while, and we're really excited about what comes next.

Please get in touch with any questions and we'll keep you up to date with the next steps.
